Overview
SuperTrails is a temporal feedback effect for DaVinci Resolve that blends the current frame with accumulated earlier frames, producing motion trails and ghosting in real time. How fast those stored frames fade is set by an adjustable decay, which is what separates a tight motion blur from a long smear.
It has three modes. Ghost is standard feedback for motion blur and trailing. Echo makes movement-based trails that can zoom, slide, and shift color as they fall behind. Freeze stamps the image at intervals for a held trail or a datamosh-style decay. The free version covers the core trails; the $12 full version unlocks every mode and the advanced controls. As a native Fusion fuse it runs on Resolve Free and Studio across macOS, Windows, and Linux, installed through the Fusion Macros folder.
