Overview
Flicker Free 3.0 is a dedicated de-flickering plugin that works as an OpenFX effect inside DaVinci Resolve. It analyzes footage frame by frame and corrects brightness variations caused by out-of-sync cameras, artificial lighting, or high frame rate capture.
Version 3.0 introduces a new algorithm that handles slow-moving bands and long-duration flicker, which was a known limitation in previous versions. It also adds motion compensation using optical flow, so shots with camera movement or fast-moving subjects can be repaired without smearing detail.
Presets cover the most common flicker sources: timelapse, slow motion, LED and fluorescent bands, and drone or aerial footage. GPU acceleration delivers more than 300% performance gain over the previous version, which matters when working with 4K or larger files.

Verdict
The most capable dedicated de-flickering plugin for DaVinci Resolve. Motion compensation and the improved slow-flicker algorithm fix footage that older versions could not handle. Worth the price if flicker removal is a regular part of your workflow.
