GrainX Film Grain is a set of 15 4K film grain plates scanned directly from Kodak film stocks. Unlike artificial grain filters that feel flat and digital, GrainX captures the organic texture of real 8mm, 16mm, and 35mm film to bridge the gap between digital footage and cinematic looks.
The pack includes dust, dirt, perforations, and letterboxes for that full vintage film aesthetic. Every plate comes as a ProRes 422 QuickTime 4K .MOV file, ready to drag and drop onto your timeline. Just switch the blend mode to soft-light, overlay, or screen and the plate lays real film texture over your footage.

Verdict
