Fujifilm Film Simulation Recipes

Welcome to my collection of Fujifilm film simulation recipes. These are carefully crafted camera settings designed to produce stunning, film-like images straight out of the camera (SOOC). These recipes are compatible with Fujifilm's X-Trans IV and V sensors, including popular models like the Fujifilm X100VI, X-T5, X100V, X-M5, and X-E5. Whether you're shooting street photography, portraits, or landscapes, these settings eliminate the need for post-processing.

My recipes offer a variety of looks built on different film simulations. For warm, nostalgic tones, try 'Italian Summer', which is based on Classic Chrome. This recipe is perfect for coastal summer scenes and travel photography. In the same way, my 'Grain Noir' recipe utilizes the ACROS simulation to create rich black-and-white images with a deep tonal range, built specifically for moody street shots. For a more dramatic, vintage aesthetic, 'Classic Cinema' leverages the Classic Negative simulation to deliver a unique, cinematic feel.

Each recipe includes precise settings for white balance, color, highlights, shadows, and grain. Each recipe page provides the exact values for Simulation, White Balance, Dynamic Range, Color, Sharpness, and more. Simply go to your camera's IQ menu and save these settings into one of your Custom slots (C1-C7).
These recipes are primarily designed for X-Trans IV and X-Trans V sensors (such as the X-T5, X100VI, X-T4, and X-S20). Compatibility essentially depends on whether your camera model includes the specific Film Simulation required for the recipe (e.g., Classic Chrome, Classic Negative, or ACROS). While the core aesthetic remains consistent across models, some settings (like Color Chrome Effect Blue or Clarity) may not be available on older sensors. However, you can still achieve a very similar look by following the primary parameters on any Fujifilm body that supports the base simulation.
