Overview
Titler Pro 7 is a dedicated titling environment that runs inside DaVinci Resolve and other NLEs. It replaces the native title tools with a full-featured 3D title designer, giving you XYZ rotation, multiple light sources, depth-of-field, normal-mapped materials, and custom 3D bevels on top of standard 2D vector text.
The re-tooled NTX engine delivers real-time playback with lower memory usage than previous versions. The library includes over 700 professionally built templates covering lower thirds, rolling credits, openers, and cinematic collections. Templates support drag-and-drop customization of shape, color, animation, and font.
Version 7 adds smooth rolling credits, object following, style breaks (which carry per-word font and color settings across multiple titles automatically), and loopable assets. Multi-title workflow lets you manage and edit several titles from a single interface without reopening the designer for each clip.
Fully compatible with NewBlue Titler Live, so designs built for live broadcast can be used directly in post without rework.

Verdict
The 3D designer and 700+ template library go well beyond what Resolve's native titling handles, and a forever license at $299 is fair for a tool you'll use on every project. It opens as a separate window outside the timeline though, which breaks the usual Resolve workflow, and there's no trial to test that friction before buying.
