What Is the Film Border Look?
The film border look comes from classic analog prints and instant formats like Polaroid and Instax. A generous white outer border frames the image the way a gallery mat would, and a thin black inner line separates the photo from the background. The result reads as deliberate rather than decorative, which is why it holds up on a portfolio as well as a feed.
